"Congo Lonzo"...dat's wut we used 2 call him when me & E were just kids. He grew up back in da GoGo playin' several different instruments 4 several bands but da 2 dat remained closest 2 his heart are da keyboard & Epitome. He started his band grind in his pre-teens but Zo's on his big boi shit musically now days. Now da new nickname he's earned is "Zo Got Beats"...& he really really do!!! On da real 4 real when it comes 2 make'n melodies U name it & Zo probably does it. From Hip-Hop, 2 Gospel, 2 R&B, 2 Rock, 2 Jazz, 2 Pop, 2 GoGo, 2 Spoken Word, & 2 even Children's Educational music..lol!!! When it comes 2 making beats & production...he can do wutever U like...yeah!!!...lol!!!

Happy new year 2 everyone out there in da blogospere...yeah it's a new year so I'm creating new words 2 start it off. As 2008 came 2 a close in my life my daughter experienced her 1st Christmas on da planet Earth!!! My mom duke's b-day was right after Christmas & my cousin Zo & B-Man from The Epitome Band also have birthdays in December. My cousin E One Letter's b-day was just yesterday as well so I've been a little too busy having an actual life 2 post any new blogs...or blog any new posts rather. There's been alot of hypebeastin' going on in dis city now dat my president is black. We luv Barack out in DC just like GoGo...did I say GoGo? Yeah I said GoGo!!! It's all type of events going down dis month due 2 da inauguration but only dis one gets da De-U.c.e. Double "STAMP" of approval. If dey ask tell em' Mr. 40. Watt sent ya'!!!

The Legend...
I usually don't post stories on my blog from off of other blogs (thanks Judah) unless it's somehow related to De-U Records or Edu-Basics & this is no different. Scarface & Rap-A-Lot have been a huge inspiration & a major influence to every member of De-U Records musically & lyrically. The Legend is one of my favorite open mic spots to hit up on tuesdays & Scarface is also one my favorite rappers of all time. He'll be performing tonight live at The Legend so...I'm there no question!!! If you don't know too much about Scarface...U don't know too much about Hip-Hop. He's always been known for having top notch lyricism & production on every CD he's ever dropped since the early days with Geto Boys & Def Jam. If you've never been to The Legend open mic, you're not too familiar with Scarface's work, or you just love Hip-Hop, then this event is a must see...trust me on this one pimp!!!
P.S. Say no to free downloads & buy "Emeritus" in stores today!!!
