June's Diamond in the Rough
In October of da year 1999 my pops da De-U CEO came up wit an interesting idea 4 a new revolutionary product called "Multiplication Hip-Hop". He & us De-U boys had absolutely no idea at all how popular dis CD would quickly become. We sold these CD's & passed out fliers on many a DMV parking lot & street corner 7 days a week from 9-5 in order 2 fund studio time & 2 pay our bills. Within da 1st couple months of creation & of street sales we already had BET News calling us 4 an interview. From 1999 to da year 2009 we've managed 2 release several more educational Hip-Hop based CD's/DVD's & have moved over 150,000 units off of virtually street sales alone!!! Now days U can still find us in da streets selling if U wanna get dat good ol' De-U discount...lol!!! Our CD's are now also available at most FYE locations in all major urban cities & online as well.

Lately local bamma's been havin' alot 2 talk bout da De-U walk. Some people been acting a lil' confused bout wut it iz exactly dat De-U does or has done besides just make music. Here's some throwback grindin' footage dat may jog U're memory a lil' & dat's sure 2 make da 40. Watt & DMV outsiders feel even more confused...lol!!! Deez joints started out as just a humble way 2 help kids from da hood & keep da studio lights on. We started by sellin' in da K-Mart parkin' lot at Rivertown & ended up in schools, libraries, book stores, & on BET, NPR, & CNBC!!! I'm not going to write a long drawn out explaination for the title above or for the Youtube footage below. Just trust & believe that I'm not joke'n, fake'n, or just being a bama try'n to create some hype or buzz. This is a serious job opportunity for professional salesman & street hustlers a like. I gotta six month old daughter myself so trust me I know it's hard out here. That's why I'm doing my part to spread the word & the wealth during these tough times. I'm an extremely giving person who does unto others as I would have them do unto me instead of trying to be off the swindles 24/7. You can read this & take it as a joke if you want...makes no difference to me. Just do me one favor pimp...this time next year remember that De-U.c.e. In case you didn't get a chance to bring the family out to our live "Multiplication Hip-Hop" concert & stage show last weekend here's a little Youtube footage of what you missed. Everybody enjoyed themselves & we damn near sold out of CD's & refreshments. The second video posted is some throwback De-U press & Dezmo street team footage from when we used to be on the streets selling CD's everyday for at least 8 hours a day. We do small shows with just the music, only one character, & no plot at schools, book stores, & libraries all the time but this was only our second ever full blown concert & play. It was our best turnout yet & we here at De-U Records greatly appreciated all the local support...thanks DMV we love ya'll!!!
P.S. If you're from the DMV & you have kids from pre-school up to middle school & you still don't know about "Multiplication Hip-Hop", Dezmo, or The L-Squad yet...U loafin'!!! Kids love these CD's nationwide & especially in the DMV...ask around. Check us out at our kiosk where we sell them in P.G. Plaza mall. We'll be throwing another kids concert real soon so stay tuned.
