I've had alot of things to address lately on my blogsite but as you can see from the title above, since my last post & now my b-day came up so...I've been a little side tracked to say the least...lol!!! In addition to that Howard's Homecoming is going down this weekend too so...need I say anymore? Don't get it confused I write a great blog & all but I'm not a computer dude or blogger or nothing like that...I just do what I do on this joint...I'm an ignorant genious ya digg!!! I had a ball all weekend long & it's going down as we speak!!! I even got a chance to perform solo live with my cousin's GoGo group called The Epitome Band for the first time ever last night. They're the best GoGo band in city that you don't know bout yet hands down no syce'n...trust me!!! "Go Get It Boy" - The Video!!!

After a long wait & a lotta hard work the "Go Get It Boy" video is finally completed!!! E One Letter's debut solo single has come a long ways since the day it was created by him & ZO using only the MPC, Motif, & an old De-U sample. We recorded, mixed, & mastered E's single at my old college Omega Studios' school...wut up Priest!!! It started out as just an infectious local DC/PG club banger off of his debut solo EP called "You Talk It I walk It" which was released in late 2007. From then to now this song has been featured on a DNA & DJ Drama Gangsta Grillz mixtape, played on several local/national radio stations, & it was on Comacast cable's CTV every wednesday all summer long accompanied by elements of The Epitome Band. Now that all editing for the final version of the video is completed the "Go Get It Boy" movement has officially begun so just remember you heard it here first!!! E One Letter's "Go Get It Boy" is much more than just merely a hype club song with a catchy hook...it's a multicultural anthem!!! De-U on News Channel 8...

Here's yet another Youtube throwback De-U video I found from way back in 2003. This is probably one the best interviews of the hundreds we've been in over the past couple years because the info is coming straight from the horse's mouth instead of the sly fox's ass...lmfao!!! 2003 was a real popular year for De-U Records as far as national & local press goes. Back then we didn't have any publicists, managers, agents, or promoters & guess what...we still don't. If you know any good people tell em' to holla at ya boy...lol!!! Seriously though we do want some professional representation we're not against it at all, we just can't seem to find anybody who can do any better for us than what we've already accomplished for our damn selves. They say people aren't allowed meetings with major labels without any professional representation...I say some people just aren't trying hard enough...ya digg!!!

This is yet another throwback De-U Records Youtube joint. This is from way back in 2001 before it was acceptable to show local luv to DC rappers & producers...way before ya'll were screaming DMV every two seconds like it's a real place on the map or something. Back then niggaz called it what it really is...DC!!! The DMV is a fictional place that only exists in the minds of DC, PG, & Mo Co. natives. Don't get me wrong I understand the connection between the areas & this so called "movement" more than you realize...shit I've made thousands of legal dollars for myself & De-U Records in the D, the M, & the V...have you? Yeah yeah yeah...I know this joint is old as hell but hey this blog isn't so fuck it...sue me. This was the second time De-U Records got a chance to chop it up with the Def Jam founder Russell Simmons. He's considered a legend in the international Hip-Hop community but in person he's just a really down to earth dude.
